Just one last dance...

Just one last dance....oh baby...just one last dance

We meet in the night in the Spanish café
I look in your eyes just don't know what to say
It feels like I'm drowning in salty water
A few hours left 'til the sun's gonna rise
Tomorrow will come and it's time to realize
Our love has finished forever

How I wish to come with you (wish to come with you)
How I wish we make it through

Chorus: Just one last dance before we say goodbye
When we sway and turn around around around
It's like the first time
Just one more chance
Hold me tight and keep me warm
Cause the night is getting cold
And I don't know where I belong
Just one last dance

The wine and the lights and the Spanish guitar
I'll never forget how romantic they are
But I know, tomorrow I'll lose the one I love
There's no way to come with you
It's the only thing to do

Just one last dance, just one more chance, just one last dance

This song was sung by Sarah Connor and another male singer (please tell me if you know)

Thoughts while listening...
Came across this song when I was watching a fan-made MV of La Femme Desperado. The MV was great... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zvao2elfksQ The MV was mainly about KoLing and ChaiFun (Melissa Ng and Raymond Lam).

The song was great and touching...

P.S. My main blog - http://starry-bright.blogspot.com/ seems to have some problems in posting... so might start a new blog...

Tell Him...

I'm scared
So afraid to show I care
Will he think me weak
If I tremble when I speak
Oooh - what if
There's another one he's thinking of
Maybe he's in love I'd feel like a fool
Life can be so cruel
I don't know what to do

I've been there
With my heart out in my hand
But what you must understand
You can't let the chance
To love him pass you by

Should I

Tell him
Tell him that the sun and moon
Rise in his eyes
Reach out to him
And whisper
Tender words so soft and sweet
Hold him close to feel his heart beat
Love will be the gift you give yourself

Touch him
With the gentleness you feel inside
Your love can't be denied
The truth will set you free
You'll have what's mean to be
All in time you'll see

I love him
Of that much I can be sure
I don't think I could endure
If I let him walk away
When I have so much to say
I'll

Love is light that surely glows
In the hearts of those who know
It's a steady flame that grows
Feed the fire with all the passion you can show
Tonight love will assume its place
This memory time cannot erase
Blind faith will lead love where it has to go

Never let him go

This song is sung by Celine Dion and Barbara Streisand...

Thoughts while listening...
Perfect song for someone who loves someone, but don't dare to voice out...
But not many can do that...

Who am I?

Verse 1:
Who am I, that the Lord of all the earth
Would care to know my name
Would care to feel my hurt
Who am I, that the Bright and Morning Star
Would choose to light the way
For my ever wandering heart

Pre-Chorus:
Not because of who I am
But because of what You've done
Not because of what I've done
But because of who You are

Chorus:
I am a flower quickly fading
Here today and gone tomorrow
A wave tossed in the ocean
Vapor in the wind
Still You hear me when I'm calling
Lord, You catch me when I'm falling
And You showed me who I am
I am Yours, I am Yours

Verse 2:
Who am I, that the eyes that see my sin
Would look on me with love and watch me rise again
Who am I, that the voice that calmed the sea
Would call out through the rain
And calm the storm in me

Bridge:
I am Yours
Whom shall I fear
Whom shall I fear
'Cause I am Yours
I am Yours

Thoughts:
This is a song by Casting Crowns... I loved this song very much. It's wonderfully written and it means a lot. How can we ever understand how a king of all glory would just gave it all up to sacrifice for us who is so unworthy? Yet He did it... This song reminds me of how I should always stay grateful to my Lord and Savior...

Carry on....

My life would be on my own,
And I leave the place where sunshine never shone,
For my life's too short for waiting,
When I see the rising sun,
Then I know again,
That I must carry on.

Carry on till tomorrow,
There's no reason to look back,
Carry on, carry on, carry on...

Beyond the shadows of the clouds,
And onward to the sky,
Carry on till I find the rainbow's end,
For my life's too short of waiting,
When I see the rising sun,
Then I know again,
That I must carry on.

This is a song from Healing Hands 3 - a HK Drama Series. I felt pity for Sarah (one of the characters played by Melissa Ng) when she heard this song. She was already depressed by the fact that she had bone cancer and can't be with the man she loves.

L is for...

I used to think L stands for love

Until I met you

You made me feel happy

Just as you made me feel miserable

You bring hope into my life

Just as you took it away from me

You made me smile

Just as you made me cry

You mean everything to me

Just as I mean nothing to you

Now that I met you

L, no longer stands for love

But loneliness …

Written by Starry_Bright

Thoughts while writing:

I wrote this with the inspiration from a famous song – L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole:

L is for the way you look at me
O is for the only one I see
V is very, very extraordinary
E is even more than anyone that you adore can

Love is all that I can give to you
Love is more than just a game for two
Two in love can make it
Take my heart and please don't break it
Love was made for me and you

I just thought of writing something about a person who was hurt by someone he/she was very much in love with. L doesn’t necessarily stands for Love, it could mean Loneliness to some people.

My 'favorite' Lesson

EST Class

What is the use of it

They make it a must

And the teacher throw a fit

It’s not our fault

Yet they scold us

Calling us a noisy lot

Making us feel worse

Horrible, terrible and vegetable

That’s what the teacher is

Kept telling us not to grumble

Blaming us when we want to piss

Hold our tongue she said

When she never tried that

At least she get paid

While treating us like a doormat

How unlucky are we

To suffer this torture

No use to beg or plea

Only to forget this in future

Thoughts while writing:

I wrote this during my EST (English for Science and Technology) lesson. I was mad at the teacher. Couldn’t blame me, though, bet everyone hates the lesson. Just voicing out my ‘ love’ towards my ‘favorite’ lesson.

The Holy Alphabet

Although things are not perfect
Because of trial or pain
Continue in thanksgiving
Do not begin to blame
Even when times are hard
Fierce winds are bound to blow
God is forever able
Hold on to what you know
Imagine life without His love
Joy would cease to be
Keep thanking Him for all the things
Love imparts to thee
Move out of "Camp Complaining"
No weapon that is known
On Earth can yield the power
Praise can do alone
Quit looking at the future
Redeem the time at hand
Start everyday with worship
To "thank" is a command
Until we see Him coming
Victorious in the sky
We'll run the race with gratitude
Xalting God most high
Yes, there'll be good times and some will be bad,
But...
Zion waits in glory... where none are ever sad!

Hands

These hands can touch the sky

Caress a friend, wipe a tear away

Wave hello and say goodbye

The right and left brothers long lost

Embracing now with loving gratitude

Hands are extensions of the will

From the mind

From the heart

A capacity to kill

A capacity to care

The hands are mine

Yours

Everyone and no one

Embracing life

As life is.

Thoughts after reading:

Hands can heal,

Hands can kill,

It’s up to us to choose what we think is the best.

Acknowledge

You seek the giver

Not the gifts

The giver gives you everything

This is where you get lost

The gifts become distractions

When you choose to forget

The giver

The gift appreciates

When you choose to remember

The giver.

Behind

And in all

Gifts

Thoughts after reading:

God gave us blessings.

But sometimes we are too concentrated on the blessings that we forgot to thank God,

Sometimes we even blame God for not giving us what we want,

This poem reminds me that I should be contented with what I have and to thank God for it.

For God is Jehovah-Jireh, my provider. “The Lord will provide.” Genesis 22:14

You

How can you get very far

If you don’t know who you are?

How can you do what you ought,

If you don’t know what you’ve got?

And if you don’t know which to do

Of all the things in front of you,

Then what you’ll have when you’re through

Is just a mess without a clue

Of all the best that can come true

If you know what & which & who

Thoughts after reading:

If you fail to plan,

You plan to fail.

Today

What will change

Today?

Will you choose to try

The attempt

Of

Remaining the same?

Trying to look, sound and talk

Like the image

Of yesterday

After all…

Yesterday apparently delivered you

Safely to today

Perhaps tomorrow

You will find what is missing

Today.

As you look into the mirror

Of yesterday….

What will change

Today?

Written by Christopher (http://www.de-facto.org) [word – 35]

Thoughts after reading:

Yesterday is history,

So don’t look back on yesterday,

Today is a gift,

Enjoy your gift.

Tomorrow is a mystery,

Don’t worry too much about it.

Things to think about...

1. I love you not because of who you are, but because of who I am when I am with you.

2. No man or woman is worth your tears, and the one who is, won't make you cry.

3. Just because someone doesn't love you the way you want them to, doesn't mean they don't love you with all they have.

4. A true friend is someone who reaches for your hand and touches your heart.

5. The worst way to miss someone is to be sitting right beside them knowing you can't have them.

6. Never frown, even when you are sad, because you never know who is falling in love with your smile.

7. To the world you may be one person, but to one person you may be the world.

8. Don't waste your time on a man/woman who isn't willing to waste their time on you.

9. Maybe God wants us to meet a few wrong people before meeting the right one, so that when we finally meet the person, we will know how to be grateful.

10. Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened.

11. There's always going to be people that hurt you so what you have to do is keep on trusting and just be more careful about who you trust next time around.

12. Make yourself a better person and know who you are before you try and know someone else and expect them to know you.

13. Don't try so hard, the best things come when you least expect them to.

The Gift Of Friendship

Friendship is a priceless gift
That cannot be bought or sold
Or exchanged with gold and diamonds
For its value is far greater
Than the sky of gold

Gold cannot bring you comfort
Or extend a helping hand
For it is cold and lifeless
It can neither see nor hear
And in time of trouble
It is powerless to share

For it has no ear to listen
No heart to understand

So when you ask someone for a gift
Be thankful if he sends
Not diamonds, pearls, jade or riches
But the gift of friendship
In his hands

Written by Unknown (my friend send this to me through email.)

Thoughts after reading:
Sometimes people are not what they seems to be,
Some choose friends who can help them in their career,
Some choose friends who can provide them benefits,
Some choose friends who can entertain them whenever they are bored
It's not easy to have a friend who really loves you for who you are and not what you are trying to be,
If you are acting most of the time in front of that person, you're trying too hard,
It's time to cherish true friendship that involves no acting but helping, loving, caring in times of need.

I'm glad I have a group of friends who are there whenever I need them.

Stars in the night

Most people prefer day
When they can come out and play
While I prefer night
When I can be out of sight
Pretending I am not there
As if anyone would care

Most people would prefer cars
While I prefer stars
Stars only come out during the night
But they are still shining bright

They console me when I was sad
They smile at me when I was glad
They calm me down when I was mad
They taught me when I was bad

They saw me when I was invisible
They cheer me up when I was miserable
They heard me when I was dumb
They never laugh at me even when I was plump

There are times when I can’t see them
Even though I wish I can
But I know they are there
Because they love and care

Written by Starry_Bright

Thoughts while writing:
Sometimes friends and families are like stars,
When we are happy, we tend to forget them, even though they are there,
When we are unhappy, we gazed at the world which is filled with darkness, feeling lost.
Suddenly stars appeared, trying their best to shine bright to light up our world,
To accompany us until the sky is bright again.
When we feel that nobody cares, look at the sky,
Just because sometimes we can't see stars,
Doesn't mean they are not there to care.

I used to be easily depressed, feeling nobody cared or paid any attention to what I say.
But when I saw stars, I realised that I'm surrounded with people who always cared,
But because I kept on throwing tantrums, I don't noticed that.
I have
my Heavenly Father,
my best friend, Jesus,
my family who always supported me, even though I was a brat,
my friends who stayed beside me, even though I was a pain-in-the-butt.
